Craniosacral Therapy
A gentle procedure
Molly O'Leary, DC, uses craniosacral therapy as taught at the Upledger Institute in Florida.
John E. Upledger, an osteopathic physician, developed craniosacral therapy between 1975 and 1983 at Michigan State University, where he was a clinical researcher and professor of biomechanics.
The craniosacral system is a physiological system much like the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. It provides the physical environment where the brain and spinal cord develop and function.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system.
