Acupuncture is a very ancient form of therapy developed in China. The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, written around 2600 BC, is one of the first surviving documents to mention acupuncture.

Molly O'Leary, DC, studied acupuncture through the Acupuncture Society of America and with John Amaro, DC, founder of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. She became a Missouri state certified acupuncturist in 1994.
